Purpose

Its a common term. It can refer to the 'reason for an act'. The thesaurus.com has synonyms such as 'intention, meaning and aim'. whichever way you look at it, it is ultimately 'why do we do what we do?', for an example, why are we alive? why do I go to work? why am I in a relationship?

The purpose of this blog is to share and hopefully to interact with anyone out there who is willing to read and interact.

I want to share with you this message that is in my heart today. The bible says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set  you apart: I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV).

We are alive today because God has a purpose with our lives. God is the greatest 'problem solver'. He created us because there was a problem to be solved. When God sent Jesus on earth, there was a problem and that problem was people were drowning in sins.

This therefore means, our purpose came before we were actually born. You were born for a particular purpose. This means therefore, it is very important to focus on our purpose because that is why we are here from the first place.

How do we know that we have a purpose?

As mentioned earlier, for the fact that we are here on earth it means we have a purpose without a doubt because remember as I mentioned earlier, "our purpose came before we were actually born". Therefore, you now that you have a purpose because you are alive.
