What is our purpose?

Our purpose mainly is to preach the word of God. As Mark 16:15 says “…Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”. Therefore, our main purpose as individuals as to win souls.

The bible talks about gifts and callings that are necessary to serve in the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:8-10). This gifts are meant ultimately to win souls and obviously to build the body of Christ.

Individuals tends to be ‘worried’, ‘concerned’ when coming to gifts in most cases. I cannot prophesy so what? However, that should not be a problem.  

Choosing a career, it is in most cases in line with your calling. It is by God’s grace for one to be an engineer, an administrator a musician, a doctor, a farmer, a psychologist, a security guards, an educator and so forth.

People choose their careers or are supposed to choose their careers based on what they are good at, what is in their hearts and that, is, their ‘calling’. However, a career is not supposed to be only for our personal benefits but it should and it must benefit the kingdom of God. You may be dressed in a white or blue coat everyday but that is just a disguise or an act, that is necessary for your biggest call, which is to win souls.
